With a B Compt Hons, CTA, Freddie completed his articles at KPMG, following that he moved into Financial Management in Transnet and Panasonic SA. Within Panasonic, Freddie moved up in the Company and became Division Director OA, IT and Telecommunications. This sparked his passion for the IT and Telecoms industry. Pursuing this passion, by 2011 he had moved into the role of Financial Executive at Reutech Solutions and by 2015, he took over the role of CEO for Nashua Communications. When he isn’t heading the Nashua Communications team, he loves riding his Harley Davidson and deep sea fishing.

As part of the 4th Industrial Revolution, our South African ICT landscape has a clear understanding of Digitisation and Business Transformation. As a trusted unified communications expert, Nashua Communications proactively partnered with Microsoft to assist a large local municipality to demystify the Digital Transformation journey.   

The project goal was to prove that Skype for Business can assist in resolving departmental collaboration challenges (outlined in more detail below), save time and money, and increase adoption of an application where the usage measurement didn’t drive a positive return on that investment.

Why B-BBEE and learner advancement are so important to Nashua Communications

Having recently achieved a new B-BBEE rating, we explain what it means to us here at Nashua Communications to empower our employees and the broader community.

We recently received a level two B-BBEE (Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment) certification. This form of economic empowerment was initiated by the South African government in response to criticism that the empowerment instituted during 2003/2004 was too narrow-based. Out of the eight levels, level one is the highest a company can achieve.
